KATHERINE BARAGHIMIAN

I’m a graphic designer and animator based in Southern California. I hold a Bachelor's of Art degree in Fine Art/Animation with a minor in Computer Game Design from California State University at Channel Islands.

Since the summer of 2023, I've been working at Aquent, where I continue to expand my expertise in graphic design and animation. Alongside my role at Aquent, I also engage in freelance projects, notably creating motion graphics for clients such as Sideshow Collectibles, providing numerous complex animation sequences, consistent with client branding and aesthetics.

I also worked full time for almost five years as a Graphic Designer & Animator for psycharmor.org - a national nonprofit company that provides free Online Education and support to all Americans who work with, live with or care for Military Service Members, Veterans and their families.

I'm fluent in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), as well as 3D design programs such as ZBrush, Maya, and Cinema4D.

I led the creative development of video production, oversaw website content design and its implementation, and supported digital advertising efforts. Transitioning from a Motion Graphics Artist to a Graphic Designer, I enhanced collaboration with producers and writers to ensure ideas, designs, and content aligned perfectly, thereby elevating our brand's narrative through design and visual storytelling.

Notably, my motion graphic videos played a critical role in the healthcare industry, serving as a key educational tool for training doctors and staff on how to effectively work with military service members and their families, enhancing our impact on a crucial audience.
